LeeAnn Nelson, PT
Has been a physical therapist for 24 years, with a treatment emphasis in manual therapy and women’s health issues. With a background in yoga, she incorporates her training in developing yoga based exercise programs for her patients. Her specialty is using osteopathic techniques to address spine issues and headaches.

Heather Wray, PT, GCS
Has been a physical therapist for 27 years, with an emphasis on geriatric and neurologic rehabilitation. Her patients include those recovering from a stroke, Parkinson’s disease, arthritis, osteoporosis and people who are prone to falling. She is a guest instructor with the Stepping On classes through CCHD and University of Delaware PT Dept. Heather also runs the Aquatic program at LeeAnn Nelson PT.

Linda Vrooman, MPT, CMT
Combines 25 years of physical therapy and 27 years of massage therapy with over 30 years of movement discipline in her approach to treating a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders. She is a certified yoga instructor, bringing humor and grace into her yoga classes. She incorporates pilates, yoga and therapeutic exercises in her Strong Spine . . . Better Body classes, including lectures on osteoporosis.

Carol Martinelli, MPT, WCS
Carol has been a physical therapist since graduating from Shenandoah University in 1995. Her emphasis has always been on Women's Health and manual therapy since her internship at Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital in Australia. She utilizes techniques such as, visceral mobilization, strain counter strain, muscle energy, Maitland and McKenzie. She became board certified in Women's Health in June of 2009 through the APTA.

Kyle Raab, DPT
Kyle earned his associate degree in 2001 from Delaware Technical Community College working primarily in outpatient orthopedic clinics in the Delaware / Maryland area. Kyle furthered his education at Neumann University earning his BS in 2007 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2010. His special interests include orthopedic injuries and sports medicine. Kyle is experienced in using McKenzie for treating the spine. Kyle also assists with the Aquatic program offered here at LeeAnn Nelson PT.

Karen Giffing, PT
Has been a physical therapist in both Delaware and Maryland with  over 30 years of continuous experience. As a graduate of the University of Delaware, she has strong skills working with patients in geriatric, orthopedic and pediatric settings incorporating many manual therapy modalities including being formally trained in McKenzie, Myofascial Release and spinal and joint mobilization in the Stanley Paris  method through the University of St. Augustine. As an adjunct professor teaching Functional Kinesiology at Delaware Technical and Community College for 10 years she has been paying it forward to the next generation of  practioners.
